Job Description:
Participate in the design of voice networks and lead implementation process; coordinate vendors, contractors and operations
Monitor the operation of the voice networks and systems to ensure proper utilization of lines, hardware and software. Tune voice network for optimal performance
Report, follow-up and escalate to 3rd vendor hardware and software support. Maintain Mean Time To Repair and SLA’s
Serve as 3rd level escalation point for extremely complex issues and problems that involve a high level of complexity or severity
Serve as subject matter voice solutions for customer identifying their needs
Close out tickets as assigned from queue coordinator/team lead
Install and configure desktop voice hardware
Perform level two and level three troubleshooting and ticket resolution
Test and verify all changes to ensure business continuity
Assist in the evaluation of vendor proposals with respect to the hardware, voice communications protocols, call flows and call routing, access methods and tariffs, and in the procurement of software and hardware; recommend infrastructure for purchase or lease
May mentor less experienced staff on technical aspects of desktop problem resolution.
May be asked to work shifts and be available for weekend or after-hours projects
Assist with installs, moves, adds, changes (IMACs).
Perform other duties as assigned or required
May be asked to lift objects over 30lb.
