VoIP Test Engineer

The company has extensive contacts within its Fortune 500 client base and is able to access a large pool of talented and responsive professionals with proven records of accomplishment in both the technical and business fields.
We are currently seeking a VoIP Test engineer should have extensive experience in the testing of VoIP applications, particularly with the following emphases:
1) Must possess in-depth knowledge and working experience in:
a. Voice networks and the various elements (switching, signaling, intelligence network, messaging, directory, notification, etc.)
b. TDM/VoIP routing protocols call processing (SS7, ISDN, MGCP, SIP, SIP-T, H.323, transcoding, etc)
c. Sonus NGS switch, Sylantro, Acme Packet session border controllers, IP Unity, Cisco routers and VoIP platforms
d. Local and LD switching platforms including Client, Nortel DMS, Nortel Succession, Sonus NGS
e. IP PBX and CPE equipment
f. Brix’s Verifier, Agilent NGN and Firehunter solutions
g. DNS, data collection, monitoring, storage, Web/API
h. Unix, SQL, Oracle, Sybase, shell/script, programming
i. System administration
2) Excellent communication skills
3) Team player who can work individually with minimum supervision
4) Be able to perform:
a. Testing and Certification – ability to define and set up physical and logical lab infrastructure and formulate and build test plan and test cases based on detailed engineering requirements. Perform testing and root cause analysis.
