VoIP Pre-Sales Engineer
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an energetic team player to join their Sales Division.
Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment the Pre-Sales Engineer is required to design customer specific, converged product solutions for clients and deliver technical and sales oriented presentations that are designed to educate and persuade customer audiences.
Responsibilities:
** Translate client’s business requirements into technical solutions.
** Assist Account Executives to develop responses to client proposals and requests.
** Meet with clients to understand their current technical environment, key business issues, and future technology requirements.
** Deliver technical and sales oriented presentations regarding product solutions.
** Develop and present technical designs to clients including network analysis, Visio diagrams, configurations, and design validations.
** Prepare cost estimates and bill of materials. Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, and applications in the customer environment.
** Coordinate new technology trials, pilots, demonstrations, and beta tests at client sites.
** Keep updated on solutions, products, and services and teach the sales team and other engineers about new features.
** Analyze, review and determine the impact that new products and technologies will have on existing client networks.
** Provide technical support for clients and sales team. Act as the main technical advisor for client accounts. Build and maintain relationships with technical decision makers.
** Develop and implement plans, verbal and written, to ensure clients have the technical tools and information required to be self-sufficient.
Qualifications
** Familiarity with Cisco Products
** Prior experience with VoIP / Unified Communications helpful
** Excellent communication and presentation skills
** BA preferred
