Our client, a leading broadband internet phone company is seeking highly professional Technical Support Associates. Their main goal is to provide exceptional service to their customers by resolving their issues and meeting their needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and troubleshoot customer facing technical issues over the phone, including: Faxing over VoIP/SIP, no dial tone of VoIP adapter and audio issues related to network latency or packet loss.
Assist customers with installation of VoIP phone on their so/ho or personal broadband network.
Perform customer call backs as needed.
Interact with higher level technical groups/Engineers via ticketing system.
Meet standardized goals and objectives as established by the management team.
Multitask a variety of responsibilities at once, including troubleshoot documentation while speaking with the customers; navigate numerous interfaces while maintaining a high level of phone etiquette in an attempt to discover the root cause of an issue.
This is a Direct Hire Full-Time Position!
Hours: MUST BE FLEXIBLE! 8 a.m. – midnight (1/2 hour lunch, two 15 minute breaks); 40 hours
Start Date: June 2nd

These are Direct Hire, Full-Time positions through Volt Technical Resources – a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in New York City. Requirements:
Job Requirements for these Tier II – Technical Support positions include:
1 year of Call Center/Customer Service experience.
Strong Networking knowledge, including: LAN topology, IP routing, TCP/IP, small office/Home office networking.
Strong Windows XP and Windows 2000 understanding (Vista is a plus).
Network hardware understanding including: routers, switches, hubs, Ethernet and USB connections.
Ability to assist customers while sitting at a single workstation for an extended period of time.
Must have training, education or experience related to PC home networking technology.
Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment.
Bonus Skills:
Technical Degree or certification.
Macintosh knowledge.
Session Initiation Protocol knowledge.
