Network Engineer - Broadsoft/VOIP/Network

Large Telecommunicatons company is located in Washington D.C., and is actively looking for a Senior VoIP Network Engineer with 5 years of Broadsoft industry experience developing successful VoIP architectures and migration strategies. Candidate MUST HAVE 5+ years of Broadsoft VoIP experience, including design experience, 7+ years of industry experience deploying Cisco Callmanager, Cisco, Callmanager Express, and also Avaya, or Nortel product line for VOIP. Considerable experience developing successful VoIP architectures and migration strategies within a heterogeneous environment is a plus. The Senior VoIP Engineer will be the technical lead for system design and integration of VoIP solutions within a geographically diverse customer. Strong understanding of interfacing with TDM telephony including PBX and Key Systems is essential, with the ability to create integration and migration plans, and engineering procedural documentation. Candidate should have a working knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, IOS programs or equivalent vendor experience, network protocols (i.e. SMTP, SNMP, TFTP, FTP, Telnet, SSH), familiarity with PBX/IP PBX Interoperability TDM, unity messaging, IP networking QOS at L2, and LS, network readiness assessments, writing and executing ATP’s, work with packet voice codecs, and high level voice network design, including translations. Candidate must also have the ability to train in the VoIP technology. Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
