Telephony Application Engineer - Genesys / CCM, VoIP, Nortel PBX, SQL
Job Description:
System Professionals Corporation has been retained to seek an experienced Telephony Application Engineer for one of our clients in Houston, Texas.
Location – Houston TX, Dallas TX, or Atlanta GA
Relocation – No
Travel – 10-20%
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Day-to-day Telecom Operations for three (3) geographically dispersed sites.
Install, configure, develop, migrate, and maintain Nortel and Cisco solutions.
Maintain, Support, and Administer Genesys CTI solutions (routing strategies, outbound, reporting, etc.)
Research, recommend, and implement new Telecom technologies.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience Qualifications
Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Genesys suite of Computer Telephony applications.
Experienced with Nortel series of PBX’s and current release levels.
Systems Administration and/or Operating Systems experience – UNIX, Solaris, and Windows OS.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-motivated, assertive while possessing the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to delivery technical expertise and project management skills in order to successfully complete projects.
Excellent communication skills, and be comfortable with one-on-one interaction as well as in front of large groups.
Knowledge of and experience in other Contact Center applications such as IVR, CTI, WFM, and/or CRM systems is a plus.
Experience with any or all of the following is desirable:
- Genesys
- Cisco Call Manager
- SQL
- VoIP
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to deliver Technical Expertise and Project Management skills in order to successfully complete projects.
Excellent communication skills; including being equally comfortable with one-on-one interactions as well as in front of large groups.
