CISCO VoIP Engineer

Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cisco VoIP Engineer to join Managed Solution in a key, varied role that combines the ability to influence VoIP strategy and provide hands-on Cisco VoIP design, implementation, and problem solving. You will lead a team that is tasked with further developing our VoIP practice. Managed Solution launched its VoIP practice area over two years ago and it is quickly becoming a large part of our overall business. Projects / Responsibilities:

Manage growth of the Cisco VoIP system (Call Manager, Voice gateways, Unity voicemail, IPCC Contact Center, SRST, etc) for our internal systems, customers, and prospects by understanding user requirements and ensuring these can be delivered.

Analyze prospective and current customer requirements and develop profitable and suitable solutions to meet customer needs.

Work closely with our vendors and customers as well as the professional services and sales teams to design and package solution offerings to take to the market.

Assist with the development of tools to more efficiently manage our VoIP base and drive value to internal and external customers.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent certifications

• Hands-on design, implementation and support experience of Cisco VoIP in medium to large businesses (100 to 1000 users)

• Cisco Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Unity Voicemail and Cisco Voice Gateways

• Excellent problem solving, team work, and communication skills. Excellent planning\organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a live environment.

• Experience in a pre-sales support role.

• Project management experience for VoIP implementations a plus

• CCNP or CCIE (Written or Lab), CCVP, CCDA certifications mandatory
