General duties will include Installing and maintaining a mix of communications platforms and software related to voice and data. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining Asterisk telecom platforms from 5 to 200 phones

* Understanding of SIP, PRI and other signaling, protocols, and have experience interacting with carriers during troubleshooting and turn-up

* Experience with VoIP systems (Asterisk, Elastix, Trixbox, FreePBX)

* Troubleshooting these systems

* Understanding of analog phone systems and wiring.

1. Computer assisted telephone dialing

3. Some .Net C# experience (to help with the integration efforts)

Essential Functions:

Reviews functional specifications and provides feedback to the developers

Creates Test Plans and test cases

Uploads and maintains Test Case Management Tool

Reviews team members’ test plans and test cases and gives feedback

Sets up test bed and executes required test cases

Validates bugs with previous releases and other supported mobile handsets

Reports software bugs in bug tracking and management tool

Demonstrates continuous effort to improve team productivity via better tools and processes

Works closely with developers for specific features to perform testing as required

Executes needed test cases for mobile handset certification to prepare for vendor certification

Qualification:

Bachelors in Engineering or Computer Science
